Pro High Speed up to 20MB/s

The World's fastest*1 data transfer speed of up to 20 MB/s

RP-SDV32G 32GB SD Card
The increasing data volume and expanding range of digital contents require high data transfer speed.

With advanced technologies, Panasonic's new 8GB / 16GB / 32GB SD memory cards achieved the data transfer speed of up to 20 MB/s*2.

This professional performance is proven by its adoption to professional camera DVCPRO P2 series.

*1 As of Oct.2004
*2 This card complies with SD Memory Card Physical Layer Specification Ver.1.10. When using this card with SD-enabled products that comply with specification Ver.1.10., a speed performance of up to 20MB/s can be realised. When using it with SD-enabled products that comply with the conventional specification Ver.1.01, the speed performance will be up to 10 MB/s.

Pro High Speed Response

High Speed Response - 21 shots/10 seconds*

High Speed Response - 7 shots/10 seconds*

By using an SD-enabled product such as the HDC-SD9 which complies with SD Memory Card Physical Layer Specification Ver.1.10, a data transfer speed performance of up to 20MB/s can be achieved. The example above illustrates that by using a product such as a Digital Still Camera and an SD Card that both comply with this specification it is possible to capture multiple times the data volume that would normally have been captured. Thus ensuring you have a greater capabilty to capture the records you want.

This is also true for the transfer of data after it has been recorded to our hardware such as Blu-ray Recorders, DVD Recorders, Computers or portable devices such as Digital Audio Players and PDA's that have in built HDD or Solid State Memory. Transfer time is reduced thus enabling you to use the data in the next device faster (see example below).
