for Best Compact Camera
Panasonic is pleased to announce that the digital still camera Lumix DMC-TZ3 received prestigious EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) Award for the Best Comapct Camera through 2007-2008.
EISA is the unique association of special interest magazines from 20 European countries. In June each year, the editors-in-chief from all EISA member magazines meet to decide which of products analyzed in their publications during the past year deserve the coveted EISA Award in the field of Audio, Video, Home Theater, Photography and Mobile Electronics. There is no doubt that this EISA Award falls on the products that are declared outstanding above any other ones in that field.

Panasonic is pleased to announce the Lumix DMC-TZ3 Digital Consumer Digital Still camera was recently named the 2007 Consumer Digital Still Camera in the Camera magazine's annual awards. Camera magazine's annual Camera of the Year awards are Australia's only imaging product design awards and are now in their 27th year.
Here is the official comment:
"Here is a truly smart-looking compact camera with a real 'photographic feel' which packs a 10x optical zoom, 7.2 megapixels resolution, 3.0 fps continuous shooting and a large, 7.62 cm LCD monitor screen. It fits the hand beautifully and works intuitively, the 28-280mm equivalent zoom made all the more useful by the incorporation of an optical image stabiliser and macro focusing down to just 5.0 cm. For a pocket-sized camera weighing a mere 250 grams, the TZ3 packs a serious punch and it has that intangible 'something' that makes it so enticing and enjoyable... perhaps some Leica magic extends merely beyond the optics. It is, however, very much a camera that you simply want to pick up and start using, inspired by the fact that there's actually not a lot that it can't handle. Panasonic bills the TZ3 as the "ultimate travel camera", but it's probably more accurately described as the "ultimate carry everywhere camera".

The higher ISO level lets the camera shoot at a higher
