Panasonic recommends Windows 7

Windows 7 Availability

Panasonic will be making Windows 7 available as an option on Toughbook computers beginning in December, 2009. All Toughbook computers available today are fully compatible with the Windows 7 operating system. Please check with your authorized Panasonic Toughbook reseller for the availability of specific units.

To support the ever increasing reliance on software, Panasonic is providing a centralised global facility for the delivery of the latest utility software and drivers. Regardless of the model you have or the country you purchased it in, you will be able to find all the software resources that are current available from Panasonic at this facility.

Toughbook Back Panel Model Number
All you will need is the full model number of your toughbook to accurately define the specification of your computer. The example to the right is the model information that may be required to enable you to accurately identify your toughbook model. The id panel is normally located on the base of the Toughbook.
